North Bend is located in eastern Nebraska where Highway 79 intersects with Highway 30, the original Lincoln Highway that first joined east and west by road.

North Bend gives you small town living with big city offerings just a short trip away. Whether you're making the trip for work, shopping or entertainment, you can be in Nebraska's two largest cities, Omaha and the capital Lincoln, in an hour or less. A four-lane Highway 30 expressway currently connects North Bend to Columbus and points west. The continuation of that expressway between North Bend and Fremont is currently under construction and due for completion in 2023. Once finished, it will bring Fremont and Omaha even closer to North Bend. Omaha and Lincoln have commercial airports that will connect you to anywhere in the world.
In three and a half hours you can be down the road in Kansas City for a Royals or Chiefs game, or hit the Plaza for shopping. Take the kids to Adventure Land in Des Moines or Worlds of Fun in Kansas City for a day of fun and rides. Zip over to the Colorado Rocky Mountains for a weekend ski adventure, or up to the South Dakota Black Hills for camping and Mount Rushmore.
